About this guide

Sinking Star Guide is an independent, English-language player guide to Order of the Sinking Star. Use it to find your puzzle, check a rule or character ability, and look up dated game information.

Find the right reference

• Guides: find an area or puzzle, then move from a light hint toward the available steps. The Skipping Stones shrine guide starts from a stated two-stone setup; it does not cover the entire entrance route.
• Mechanics: controls, objects, goals and the four worlds and combined mechanics.
• Database: maps, hero abilities and story regions, and Steam achievements. Blank achievement descriptions stay unconfirmed.
• Troubleshooting: progress carry-over, missing achievements, recovery and device notes.
• Game Info: release date, confirmed platforms, a dated US Steam price, PC requirements and Demo information.

This is a growing reference. It does not contain a solution to every puzzle or a complete achievement unlocking route. Demo advice is labelled and should be matched to your current layout.

How we check information

Official announcements and Steam listings support release, platform and store facts. Game text and files support static maps, default controls and character references. Community reports and walkthrough videos are credited separately. A video by another creator is not gameplay tested by this site.

Open the Sources disclosure at the bottom of a guide to see the supporting references. An observation date tells you when we checked a source; a page update date records an edit. Neither date establishes the version of your game. Different regions or older Demo footage can show different names and layouts.

Game files and testing limits

Our maps show a static reference layout, rather than your current save. Character portraits and artwork come from the game. We check a local game snapshot, but its Steam build number is unknown; we do not describe it as the latest patch.

A file can identify an object, achievement or region without proving what happens during play. Achievement identities and some region associations have been checked, while the complete trigger and counting logic remains unverified. We do not use those associations to invent missing unlock conditions.

New puzzle solutions and timing claims require verified gameplay or execution evidence within their stated scope. We have not tested every route, device or mod combination.

Credits and rights

Game names, artwork and Steam achievement icons belong to their respective rights holders. Linked community maps and embedded walkthrough videos credit their creators. See Copyright for attribution and rights requests, and Privacy for analytics and video loading.

Corrections and updates

Use Contact to report an error or request a correction. Include the page URL, your platform and game version if known, the puzzle name or visible layout, and a source or screenshot that helps explain the issue. Please omit account details and other private information.

Site Updates records changes made public on this guide. Official game channels handle game support and announcements; they do not operate this site.
