Is the demo still downloadable?

The Steam demo page still displayed an Install Demo entry when checked September 15. We checked the page, not an installation or launch. Its description still carries the original June Next Fest window; neither that old date nor recent reviews proves whether a particular machine can run it today.

The official Steam news hub announced a public Japanese demo at Tokyo Game Show 2026 for September 17–21. That venue-specific event does not establish whether the downloadable Steam Demo can be installed or completed on a particular machine.

Does demo progress carry over?

The June 22 announcement says Steam demo progress carries into the full release. It does not establish transfer to another platform or guarantee compatibility with every later demo build. Keep the platform and announcement date attached to this answer.

How long does it take?

Two June players reported roughly four hours for phase one and seven hours with 72 puzzles solved. Cappa Games’ separate third-party run is published as 10:00:54 and titled 105 Levels Complete. Treat these as examples, not a promise: puzzle order, pauses and experimentation change the result. This site has not timed a run of its own.

Stuck at 74/75?

Use this limited community-report sequence before assuming a board is missing: (1) solve the last board and move a few steps before reopening campaign progress, (2) if the counter is still low, switch campaigns or restart and check again, (3) if it remains low, compare your route against a known optional board rather than repeating random puzzles. The 74→75 restart case and the delayed-update report are historical community observations, not a guaranteed repair or a site reproduction. Note your build, counter and last solved puzzle before comparing with the community map.

Find the puzzle precisely

Use the community map’s file-name link, such as mirror_pals, and include the area and a picture of your board when seeking help. Do not assume that identifier appears in the pause menu or save file. Our map guide explains the browser tool.
