The Steam demo page displayed an installation entry when checked September 15; we have not tested installation or launch. The June content update describes 100+ puzzles across the game's opening worlds. Community counter evidence supports 105 as the completed Part 2 count, while the official announcement remains an approximate “around 110 levels.” Progress carries over to the full release on Steam.

What is Order of the Sinking Star and when does it launch?
A narrative puzzle adventure by Thekla, Inc. with 1000+ interconnected hand-crafted puzzles across four worlds that collide. The official site and August announcement say October 8, 2026 on Steam (PC), Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch 2 and PS5. Steam’s US store currently displays October 9; check the store for your region because the publisher has not published a timezone explanation.
Where do I get the demo and what does it include?
A free Demo entry is visible on Steam (PC), checked September 15. A successful download or launch has not been tested here. It started with 75 puzzles and now covers 100+ after the June 19 content update, which also added the Bard and Druid heroes. Does demo progress carry over to the full game?
Yes — the developers confirmed demo progress carries over to the full release on Steam. Carry-over on other platforms has not been stated.
What about voice acting?
Steam’s disclosure says the demo mixes human narration with optional computer-generated placeholder voices. The full release is explicitly planned to use human-recorded voiceover only, with no AI-generated content. The checked disclosure does not name individual actors.
