Vault of the Beamcasters: Two Vaults, Stage by Stage

Match your entrance before choosing a vault. Follow the first route through the wrist-device chamber and egg chamber, or the second through the torc chamber and return to its entrance. Each stage includes pictures, a state check and an original-video link.

Based on the attributed P8 recording. Its exact game build is unknown; this site has not reproduced either route in the current version. Follow the pictured starting states. This is not a recovery guide for an arbitrarily changed save.

Use the entrance pictures and room layout, rather than another website's Level 1/2 labels. Left, right, up and down below refer to the matching top-down picture, not independently verified world compass directions. Video timestamps identify source footage; they are not waiting instructions.

Before following the route

A light hint

A beamcaster used to open a route is not necessarily meant to stay powered forever. Compare the later return states before assuming a socketed gem is permanently spent.

What changes during this route

Keep temporary socket gems available for the next room. The wrist device acquired in this vault moves rocks and casters in straight lines; it is distinct from the caster-turning torc acquired in Vault B. Map wrap and camera changes can show the same room twice.

Start from the matching pictured layout. A different save state may need a different preparation or recovery route.

A light hint

The torc pickup is a mid-route checkpoint. It is followed by another section and a return through the earlier floor; do not stop the guide at the item dialogue.

What changes during this route

Use purple-beam travel to reach disconnected pockets. After collecting the torc, turn the named caster until its beam matches the pictured direction. A blue socketed gem is reusable power, not a loose pickup. Brief trial facings are omitted from the route.

Start from the matching pictured layout. A different save state may need a different preparation or recovery route.
